Coordinates daily trailer movements and safety in Target distribution center yards, keeping trailer records current and ensuring equipment and freight flow meet operational needs.
What you'll do
- Coordinate trailer admissions, movements, releases, and yard-system updates; communicate trailer needs and progress to distribution center executives.
- Promote yard safety by checking carrier compliance, addressing unsafe acts, and ensuring trailers are admitted according to current best practices.
- Conduct trailer inventories, support preventive maintenance readiness, and work with First Mile Transportation to monitor trailer pools and freight flow.
