Improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of Teamworks’ established Java-based Athlete Management System, from investigation and technical planning through production.
What you'll do
- Find and address performance bottlenecks in APIs, database queries, calculations, and background jobs; improve data access, asynchronous processing, and observability.
- Drive performance and scalability improvements independently, including integrating AMS with the evolving data platform.
- Review complex architectural changes, mentor engineers, and advise engineering leadership on technical trade-offs.
