Director, Product Marketing, Core Products

What you'll do

• Assess roadmap capabilities and determine the research, positioning, proof, launch, or adoption support each needs; run monthly and special-edition launch processes.
• Own product and portfolio positioning, key narratives, customer interviews, and adoption programs; work with Product and Engineering to incorporate customer evidence into decisions.
• Manage and develop Product Marketing Engineers; lead ecosystem strategy, partner launches, and cross-functional work, while supporting customers and strategic sales deals.

What they ask for

• Significant product marketing experience with developer tools, cloud infrastructure, open-source software, distributed systems, data infrastructure, or another deeply technical product.
• Experience leading and developing senior individual contributors while remaining hands-on with strategy, writing, and execution.
• Record of building trusted Engineering relationships and turning technical work into positioning, launch decisions, and adoption programs.
• Technical fluency with APIs, SDKs, distributed systems, reliability, performance, security, and cloud architecture; strong positioning, writing, prioritization, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Prior experience as a product manager, engineer, solutions architect, or other technical practitioner.
• Experience with workflow orchestration, event-driven systems, microservices, cloud platforms, AI infrastructure, or creating launch and product marketing systems in a scaling organization.

Pay

USD $210K – $350K (base salary; compensation type not specified)
