Prepares and stains tissue slides, operates histology equipment, and supports quality review and daily pathology laboratory workflows.
What you'll do
- Prepare routine and unstained slides from formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue; cut and stain frozen sections.
- Operate and maintain histology equipment, preserve specimen integrity, and record work in the laboratory information system.
- Collaborate with pathologists and the histology team to review slide quality and meet laboratory deadlines.
