About the job
Shape power architecture strategy and optimize power across AI compute systems, from early estimates through RTL and silicon measurements.
What you'll do
- Predict power consumption during architecture development and track it through RTL evolution.
- Propose architectural changes to optimize power across server and non-server markets.
- Develop realistic workloads, correlate pre-silicon estimates with silicon measurements, and improve power efficiency.
What they ask for
- 15+ years of experience with power estimation tools such as PowerArtist, PtPX, RTL Architect, and PrimePower.
- Expertise in architectural power modeling and optimization, including power-gating, voltage domains, and leakage control.
- Track record of influencing architectural or micro-architectural changes that reduced design power.
- Proficiency in Verilog HDL, Design Compiler, C/C++, and Python; background in power optimization of compute datapaths and/or interconnects.
