About the job

Develops and integrates control and machine-learning algorithms for adaptive robotic systems, including modeling, simulation, and real-time testing.

What you'll do

  • Develop and tune controllers for dynamic, nonlinear systems; build and validate physical models for simulation, hardware-in-the-loop testing, and autonomy.
  • Train and deploy machine-learning models for perception, planning, or adaptive control.
  • Integrate algorithms with firmware and cloud teams, and profile and verify performance under latency, jitter, and compute constraints.

What they ask for

  • Working toward a bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field.
  • U.S. permanent residency required.

Nice to have

  • Personal projects or maker experience; LiDAR integration.
  • Python/C++ with PyTorch/JAX; MPC/OSQP/CasADi; EKF/UKF/factor graphs; system identification, RL (PPO/SAC), ROS2, ONNX/TensorRT, or latency and jitter profiling; PCB and embedded-systems design is a bonus.

Tools

PID, MPC, Python, C++, PyTorch, JAX, ROS2, ONNX/TensorRT

AI focus

Train and deploy machine-learning models for perception, planning, or adaptive control, including supervised learning or reinforcement learning.
