Leads finite element analysis for Thea Energy’s stellarator systems, supporting design, optimization, verification, and engineering decisions through structural, thermal, vibration, and magnetic-load simulations.
What you'll do
- Set FEA methodology and architecture, lead complex analysis initiatives, and mentor and review the work of junior analysts.
- Develop and oversee system-level finite element models and coupled multiphysics simulations, including steady-state and transient analyses.
- Evaluate and optimize designs for stress, fatigue, creep, material behavior, weight, performance, and maintainability.
