About the job
Owns the mechanical design, development, analysis, manufacturing support, and commissioning of components and subsystems for Thea Energy’s stellarator fusion systems.
What you'll do
- Design components, subsystems, assembly tooling, drawings, specifications, and prototypes; support manufacturing and first builds.
- Perform thermal, structural, and electromagnetic analysis, and plan and execute qualification testing.
- Track program progress, collaborate with stakeholders, and mentor junior engineers.
