About the job
Leads design, simulation, specification, and integration of the power distribution and energy management systems for Thea Energy’s Eos stellarator.
What you'll do
- Design plant-wide power distribution, grounding, protection, and backup systems, including grid interconnection, STATCOM, and BESS.
- Run electrical load-flow, short-circuit, and transient-stability simulations and develop power management strategies.
- Develop technical specifications and requirements; coordinate with EPC firms, utilities, vendors, and commissioning teams.

- 7+ years of power systems engineering experience, including substation design, grid integration, or industrial distribution infrastructure.
- Experience with medium- and high-voltage distribution, transformer selection, protective relaying, and electrical safety.
