About the job
Inspects high-precision mechanical components made on internal CNC and manual equipment to verify they meet blueprint specifications and manufacturing standards.
What you'll do
- Perform and document visual and dimensional first-article, in-process, and sample-lot inspections using metrology equipment.
- Identify, mark, segregate, sort, and rework non-conforming materials as needed.
- Maintain calibrated inspection equipment and organized work areas, and help improve inspection processes and documentation.

- Ability to learn to interpret mechanical blueprints, including basic fit, geometric tolerancing, and thread classifications.
- Ability to learn to use and interpret handheld inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
