About the job

Develop and lead a Space Force sales portfolio for Lemma, Thread AI’s workflow orchestration platform, from customer discovery and capture through funded award and commercial expansion.

What you'll do

  • Build customer relationships, qualify opportunities, and develop pipeline across assigned Space Force accounts and mission areas.
  • Own capture plans, proposals, demonstrations, negotiations, forecasts, and pursuit coordination through award.
  • Connect customer evaluations to funded adoption and expansion, then hand delivery teams a clear record of commitments.

What they ask for

  • Five or more years in growth, business development, or sales to U.S. defense customers, with revenue-target responsibility; equivalent experience demonstrating the same commercial ownership is considered.
  • Personally helped originate and win funded software or technology awards, and can explain the buyer, obligated funding, and personal contribution.
  • Deep knowledge and current customer relationships in a relevant Space Force area; relevant Air Force space experience counts, and Space Force service is not required.
  • Working knowledge of national-security-space software acquisition and budgeting, with evidence of independently leading pipeline and pursuits through capture, proposals, and award.

Nice to have

  • Experience winning awards through an OTA, CSO, SBIR Phase II or III, or BAA.
  • An active U.S. Secret security clearance or higher is preferred, but not required.

Pay

$180,000-$250,000 USD base salary; $280,000-$400,000 USD total on-target earnings
