Data Knowledge System Research Scientist Graduate (Data Platform-Global Live) - 2027 Start (PhD)

What you'll do

• Research and design enterprise knowledge representations, semantic layers, and batch and real-time ingestion and update mechanisms.
• Build and evaluate RAG-based systems and improve LLM grounding, traceability, accuracy, and latency.
• Explore agent-based reasoning and execution, prototype ideas, and integrate validated approaches into production systems.

What they ask for

• Completing or recently completed a PhD in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Solid understanding of data systems, data modeling, or distributed systems.
• Experience in data engineering/backend systems or machine learning/LLM systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with LLM, RAG, or vector databases; knowledge graphs or ontology modeling.
• Experience with real-time data processing (Flink, Kafka, etc.), AI agents or workflow orchestration, or building data platforms or knowledge systems.
