Generative AI Researcher Intern (Intelligent Creation-Vision and Graphics) - 2027 Start (PhD)

What you'll do

• Conduct cutting-edge research and development in computer vision, machine learning, and related fields.
• Work with Research Scientists to deliver advanced technologies to TikTok products.
• Work with a mentor to deliver product features and engineering improvements.

What they ask for

• Able to commit to a 12-week internship during 2027.
• Currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
• Strong research track record in computer vision, computer graphics, or machine learning; publications at conferences such as SIGGRAPH/SIGGRAPH Asia, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ICML, NeurIPS, or ICLR are preferred.
• Highly competent in algorithms and programming.

Nice to have

• Software engineering experience through an internship, work experience, coding competitions, or publications.
• Creativity and quick problem-solving capabilities.

AI focus

Research and development in computer vision, machine learning, video and multimodal understanding, image and video synthesis, 3D vision, and intelligent editing.
