About the job
Lead legal advice and support for ByteDance’s global sanctions compliance programs, excluding China, and help operationalize and improve sanctions controls across its businesses.
What you'll do
- Enhance and maintain sanctions compliance programs, including screening mechanisms, and advise stakeholders on sanctions issues.
- Assess program risks and effectiveness, identify gaps, and develop remediation plans; support relevant internal investigations.
- Track sanctions law and regulatory developments and deliver compliance training with regional counsel and cross-functional teams.

- Combined compliance experience at an international law firm and in-house at a multinational company.
