What you'll do

• Help design, implement, test, and iterate on Search features, services, or tools.
• Analyze large-scale data, logs, metrics, or experiments to understand search behavior and improve quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners, document work, and communicate progress and risks.

• Must commit to 12 weeks of full-time work.
• Currently pursuing a PhD in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Proficient coding skills and a strong foundation in algorithms and data structures.
• Experience in at least one of NLP, Ranking, Ads, search engine, recommender system, distributed system, or machine learning.

Nice to have

• Project experience in search, recommendation, machine learning, information retrieval, natural language processing, ranking, ads, content understanding, or data mining.
• Familiarity with databases, distributed systems, data pipelines, experimentation, or large-scale backend services.
