Research Scientist Graduate (Conversational AI)- 2027 Start (PhD)

What you'll do

• Develop agent runtime, context and memory systems, tools, and safety controls.
• Build post-training, evaluation, and self-improving workflows using conversation data and rigorous experimentation.
• Own an end-to-end product surface and ship it to production, measuring outcomes such as CSAT and resolution or containment rate.

What they ask for

• Completing or recently completed a PhD in CS, AI, Math, a quantitative degree, or a related discipline.
• Strong Python and one of C++, Go, Rust, or Java.
• Solid ML, DL, and NLP fundamentals, with hands-on LLM or agent experience.
• Basic statistical literacy and ability to turn research or engineering writing into working code.

Nice to have

• Experience building agent runtimes, memory or context systems, RAG or tool-use agents, or fine-tuned/post-trained models.
• Relevant post-training, agent systems, evaluation, experimentation, self-improving systems, inference/serving, publications, competition results, or open-source contributions.
