Senior AI Effect Experience Designer- TikTok Design

What you'll do

• Lead creative direction and visual design for multiplayer interactions, casual games, and interactive effects.
• Integrate AI tools into design and development workflows and build reusable AI Skills, Custom GPTs, and Workflow Agents.
• Deliver visual direction, UI design, and demos while supporting iteration of TikTok’s gamified features and Effect House.

What they ask for

• 3+ years of experience in interaction design, game UI/UX, effect design, or multimedia creative design.
• Ability to integrate AI platforms such as Claude, Codex, Stable Diffusion, and ChatGPT into daily design workflows.
• Ability to independently complete end-to-end interactive visual design projects and adapt across visual styles.
• Passion for games, curiosity about emerging trends, cross-disciplinary ability, and ability to work in fast-paced environments.

Nice to have

• Insights into casual mobile games, interactive art, and short-form video culture; experience leading creative projects and developing design guidelines or systems.
• Experience using low-code or AI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor or v0 to develop and launch interactive projects or playable prototypes.
