Senior Research Scientist, TikTok - Trust and Safety

What you'll do

• Design, train, and deploy LLM/VLM foundation models for content safety tasks.
• Develop multilingual, multimodal, and low-resource model capabilities, annotation and evaluation frameworks, and RLHF alignment strategies.
• Optimize large-scale training and serving, and integrate safety models into moderation workflows with partner teams.

What they ask for

• Traditional machine learning experience and over 2 years of research or development experience in large models.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of technical breakthroughs and business impact.
• Coding and debugging ability, plus strong communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Publications at top conferences such as NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, CVPR, or ICCV.
• Experience in competitive AI challenges.
