Software Engineer Intern (TikTok-Social-Friending) - 2027 Summer

What you'll do

• Design and deliver features for relationship discovery, connection, and management.
• Work across backend services and iOS and Android applications, owning features from design through launch and iteration.
• Collaborate across teams and produce maintainable code and technical documentation.

What they ask for

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Able to commit to a 12-week internship during Summer 2027.
• Software development experience on backend, iOS, or Android, with willingness and ability to contribute across all three.
• Knowledge of computer architecture, data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and software engineering principles; experience designing APIs and integrating mobile apps with backend services.

Nice to have

• Experience delivering an end-to-end feature across backend services and mobile clients.
• Familiarity with distributed systems, high-concurrency services, mobile architecture, networking, databases, or performance optimization.
