About the job
Maintains and repairs manufacturing equipment and facilities, troubleshoots production issues, and supports equipment upgrades and production uptime at Torus’s GigaOne facility.
What you'll do
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, repairs, and emergency troubleshooting on manufacturing equipment.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues, respond to machine downtime, and provide production support to reduce downtime and optimize throughput.
- Record maintenance activities, follow safety procedures, and assist with machinery setup, movement, and upgrades.
What they ask for
- High School Diploma/Equivalent and 2–5+ years of related industrial maintenance experience.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, PLCs, motor controls, pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, and pumps.
- Demonstrated manufacturing machine setup, operation, troubleshooting, and repair experience, specifically with CNC Machines, Laser Cutting, Waterjet Cutting, and Presses.
- Experience with high- and low-voltage electrical assemblies and wiring; ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
Nice to have
- Active OSHA compliant Forklift Certification.
- Technical certifications or vocational training in electrical or mechanical disciplines.
Pay
$25-$35/hr (base salary)
