Develops, operates, and scales TRM’s relational database serving infrastructure, improving its performance, availability, cost, and operational automation.
What you'll do
- Tune queries, indexes, and schemas for petabyte-scale Postgres/Citus systems to support fast, highly available APIs.
- Build automation and validation for database operations, manage CDC pipelines, and migrate or prototype data infrastructure.
- Use AI-assisted analysis and tooling to improve database performance, reduce costs, debug replication, and create reusable runbooks.

- 5–8 years building and operating production PostgreSQL, including Citus, Aurora, AlloyDB, or equivalent distributed Postgres.
- Deep SQL optimization skills, including Explain Plans, CTEs, window functions, partitioning, index design, and distributed query-planner behavior.
