About the job
Build and evolve backend services and platform infrastructure that support engineering teams and Trunk Tools’ construction software.
What you'll do
- Design and operate distributed, event-driven backend systems, including service boundaries, data models, and API contracts.
- Build self-service platform capabilities and maintain reliability through observability, SLOs, and incident response.
- Lead cross-team projects, set engineering standards, review code, and mentor engineers.
