Software Engineer II, Developer Platform

What you'll do

• Build and improve continuous integration, ephemeral environment, automated testing, and developer tooling systems.
• Develop scalable Kubernetes- and AWS-based capabilities and shared infrastructure for reliable, self-service workflows and fast feedback.
• Improve platform reliability, performance, observability, and cost efficiency; use AI in software development and identify AI-enabled developer workflows.

What they ask for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (or its equivalent), plus 3 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience developing production software using one or more general-purpose programming languages, and designing, building, testing, and operating production software or infrastructure.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, continuous integration systems, developer tooling, or backend services; independently deliver projects from technical design through production operation.
• Demonstrated experience using AI assisted development tools across multiple stages of the software engineering lifecycle.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes control-plane engineering, AWS, containers, or infrastructure as code.
• Experience with developer tooling, internal developer platforms, shared test infrastructure, ephemeral environments, APIs, automation, or AI-enabled developer workflows.

Pay

$142,000 — $196,600 USD (base salary); $136,000 — $165,000 CAD (base salary)
