Designs and releases mechanical components and assemblies for automotive applications, including CAD models, production drawings, tolerance analyses, simulations, and manufacturing collaboration.
What you'll do
- Develop mechanical architectures, packaging studies, 3D models, 2D production drawings, and tolerance stack-ups; perform clearance checks and structural/thermal simulations.
- Manage component and assembly PLM lifecycles, BOM accuracy, release readiness, and customer engineering change requests.
- Investigate design failures, determine fixes, coordinate tooling feasibility with suppliers, and apply design and manufacturing standards.
