About the job
Develops and releases mechanical designs, production drawings, and engineering changes for automotive components.
What you'll do
- Create and modify 3D parametric models, packaging studies, and 2D production drawings; define part designs and component sizing.
- Apply plastic-molding design rules, assess tooling feasibility, and perform clearance, tolerance, and simulation analyses.
- Manage PDM/PLM records and BOM accuracy, and validate design releases and customer engineering changes.
Nice to have
- Technical-field associate’s degree (experience in lieu of education will be considered).
- Catia design experience (experience with other design software will be considered).
