About the job

Develop and deploy robot manipulation algorithms for industrial tasks such as grasping, assembly, and precision insertion, combining perception, planning, and feedback control.

What you'll do

  • Build vision systems for object detection, localization, pose estimation, point-cloud processing, and grasp-pose computation; implement closed-loop robot motion workflows.
  • Integrate vision, planning, and control modules using ROS/ROS2, and deploy, commission, troubleshoot, and optimize systems on production lines.
  • Validate manipulation approaches involving VLA, imitation learning, and reinforcement learning; document systems and train on-site personnel.

What they ask for

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Robotics, Automation, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with robot kinematics, coordinate transformations, trajectory planning, and basic robot-arm control.
  • Hands-on familiarity with OpenCV, PCL, RGB-D cameras, and relevant perception or grasping tasks; familiarity with camera and hand-eye calibration and force/compliant control principles.
  • Hands-on experience commissioning/debugging real robots and deploying industrial projects.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with VLA + RL or learning-based manipulation methods such as RECAP and RLT.
  • Practical experience with impedance control, admittance control, or hybrid force/position control.

Tools

MoveIt/MoveIt2, ROS/ROS2, OpenCV, PCL, RGB-D cameras, VLA, RECAP, RLT

AI focus

Validate robot manipulation algorithms based on VLA, imitation learning, and reinforcement learning, including end-to-end visual-input-to-action policies.
