About the job

Build data and evaluation frameworks for biological security and precision biologics, and collaborate on biological AI models, experiments, and tools.

What you'll do

  • Identify biological datasets and build processing workflows and infrastructure.
  • Design evaluation frameworks and wet-lab experiments to assess model performance and biologic efficacy.
  • Collaborate with AI and software engineers to develop models and deploy documented, tested data-analysis tools.

What they ask for

  • Experience analyzing biological datasets, ideally sequence-based modalities.
  • Experience planning and running in silico computational biology experiments.
  • High proficiency in Python and its scientific package ecosystem.
  • Experience with bioinformatics sequence analysis tools and cloud computing platforms.

Nice to have

  • Experience designing, implementing, and evaluating novel computational biology methods; working with experimental biologists; or training and evaluating machine-learning models.
  • Experience with ML-centric bioinformatics or structure-based tools, biological databases, or open-source contributions.

Tools

Python, AWS, AlphaFold, NCBI

AI focus

Collaborate on designing and training biological AI models for biological security and precision biologics; build frameworks to evaluate model performance.
