About the job
Own the technical strategy and field success of VAST AI OS deployments on partner and customer-selected hardware, especially the EBox platform.
What you'll do
- Architect, size, and validate solutions against customer workloads, performance goals, capacity needs, and infrastructure constraints.
- Advise sales engineers, partners, and customers; lead or coordinate troubleshooting and deployment planning for complex opportunities.
- Build repeatable architectures and deployment guidance, and work with Support, Engineering, and Product to improve the platform and processes.
What they ask for
- Deep hands-on experience deploying, tuning, and troubleshooting complex infrastructure in production data centers.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise storage, distributed systems, software-defined infrastructure, server architecture, and networking.
- Ability to translate workload requirements into infrastructure sizing, architecture, and realistic performance expectations.
- Background in a customer-facing technical role such as sales engineering, field engineering, professional services, implementation, or support engineering; able to travel across the United States as required.
Nice to have
- Experience with OEM server platforms and/or enterprise storage technologies is highly desirable.
