About the job
Set up and operate orbital welding equipment to fabricate, inspect, and integrate tubing assemblies for human-rated space station systems.
What you'll do
- Set up, operate, and maintain the orbital welding system; prepare tubing and fittings.
- Work from approved drawings, support process improvements, and help train teammates.
- Weld vehicle assemblies, assemble and calibrate liquid systems, and inspect and proof assemblies.
What they ask for
- 3+ years of welding, machining, or manufacturing experience, or a certificate from an accredited trade skills program in A&P, manufacturing, welding, and/or electronics.
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted and stand for at least 8 hours.
- Able to stoop, bend, crawl, and maneuver in tight spaces.
