Leads end-to-end color, material, and finish design for human-rated space stations, developing and qualifying materials and taking CMF designs from concept through production.
What you'll do
- Set CMF strategy and develop materials, colors, graphics, design standards, and a scalable materials library.
- Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and test agencies to evaluate, qualify, and deliver designs to production.
- Present design direction and manage material-related risks to program schedule, cost, and certification.
