Ensures the quality and reliability of supplier products and components for Vast’s space station systems by evaluating suppliers, resolving quality issues, and driving supplier improvements.
What you'll do
- Evaluate, onboard, and audit suppliers; assess manufacturing processes, inspection practices, and quality systems.
- Partner with design, manufacturing, and procurement teams on design-for-manufacturability, sourcing, and supplier requirements.
- Analyze supplier performance, lead root-cause and corrective actions, and implement improvement plans.
