About the job

Works across AI models, algorithms, and hardware architecture to guide model selection and translate workload requirements into efficient compute-platform designs.

What you'll do

  • Analyze AI architectures and training/inference requirements to assess computational and system needs.
  • Work with hardware teams to translate model requirements into efficient silicon implementations and optimize models, algorithms, or dataflows.
  • Develop performance and efficiency models and collaborate across software and hardware teams to support deployment on new platforms.

What they ask for

  • Strong understanding of modern machine learning architectures, including transformers and related model families.
  • Solid grounding in machine learning mathematics, optimization, and deep learning algorithms.
  • Experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, JAX, or TensorFlow.
  • Ability to analyze model computation graphs and translate them into efficient dataflows and compute patterns; experience with AI training and inference workflows.

Nice to have

  • Experience with hardware–software co-design or AI accelerator architecture.
  • Familiarity with model optimization techniques such as quantization, sparsity, pruning, or distillation.
