About the job

Own the power architecture for Velaura’s Physical AI SoC, from early design through tape-out and production, balancing performance, energy use, and thermal limits.

What you'll do

  • Define SoC power domains, DVFS strategy, power states, power delivery, and power budgets.
  • Architect power-management hardware and firmware/software policies, and validate power intent through implementation and silicon bring-up.
  • Set power and thermal management practices, including throttling and energy-aware scheduling; mentor engineers.

What they ask for

  • 8+ years in power management, mixed-signal, or SoC architecture, including significant power architecture experience for shipping silicon or embedded platforms.
  • Expertise in low-power design techniques, power delivery networks, PMICs, voltage regulation, and power/thermal/package interactions.
  • Hands-on experience with UPF/CPF power intent, low-power methodology, and SoC power modeling and analysis.
  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

  • Experience optimizing power for AI/ML accelerators or NPUs and real-time or latency-sensitive edge workloads.
  • Familiarity with robotics, automotive, mobile, or other constrained domains; energy-aware software/firmware and thermal management.
