Staff AI Engineer (NYC)

What you'll do

• Develop AI capabilities using agents, LLMs, RAG, embeddings, and machine learning to improve user workflows and insights.
• Architect and integrate agentic chat and multi-tenant AI systems, including observability, evaluations, and guardrails.
• Collaborate across product, data science, engineering, and leadership to turn business needs into production AI solutions and inform the AI roadmap.

What they ask for

• 8+ years of professional software or data engineering experience, including at least 3+ years building AI/ML-driven products.
• Production experience shipping LLM-powered or agentic features, including prompt engineering, RAG, evaluation, and LLM deployment.
• Strong Python programming skills and SQL proficiency.
• Experience with modern AI frameworks and data pipelines, plus understanding of cloud infrastructure and machine learning techniques.

Nice to have

• Experience with HuggingFace and LangChain.
• Experience designing pipelines with Airflow, Dagster, or equivalent.

$250K – $300K USD base salary
