About the job
Leads the team responsible for camera storage and shared firmware systems, setting the roadmap and improving reliability, performance, power use, and retention across Verkada’s device fleet.
What you'll do
- Lead, mentor, and grow storage, firmware, and systems engineers; set technical strategy and roadmap.
- Drive camera storage architecture, reliability, observability, testing, and media qualification, including related backend storage systems.
- Improve firmware platform capabilities and fleet-wide metrics, including boot, resource management, device state, debugging, and release processes.

Pay
$200,000 — $315,000 USD annual on-target earnings (OTE) range; the posting describes OTE as comprised of base compensation and commissions (if applicable).
