Provides weekend operational support for Virtu Financial’s global trading infrastructure, resolving Linux server issues, handling deferred maintenance, and responding to production incidents.
What you'll do
- Analyze, diagnose, and resolve Linux-based server issues; create, test, deploy, and maintain OS packages, batch files, and scripts.
- Handle infrastructure changes and configuration requests, and identify optimizations to reduce latency and improve efficiency.
- Coordinate with internal technology groups and vendors, and support infrastructure strategy and capacity planning.
