About the job
Supports the orthodontist and clinical team with patient care, clinical procedures, treatment coordination, and day-to-day clinic operations.
What you'll do
- Assist with orthodontic procedures, including impressions, scans, X-rays, and appliance placement or adjustments under supervision.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms; maintain patient records and comply with safety and infection-control protocols.
- Educate patients, support patient flow, and help manage clinical supplies.
What they ask for
- Prior dental assisting experience.
- Dental Assistant certification as required by state.
- Treatment Coordination experience in a dental setting.
- X-ray certification as required by state.
Nice to have
- Orthodontic experience.
- CPR/BLS certification and experience with dental software such as Dentrix, Ortho2, or Open Dental.
