Experience
8+ years in SoC, CPU, GPU, accelerator, or networking architecture.

About the job

Defines SoC and subsystem architectures, models performance, power, and area trade-offs, and helps develop AI systems that reason about chip architecture.

What you'll do

  • Own SoC, subsystem, and IP-block architecture and microarchitecture from requirements through specification.
  • Build performance, power, and area models; define memory hierarchies, interconnects, and interfaces; and lead architecture reviews.
  • Work with ML researchers to teach and evaluate models’ architecture reasoning, and translate customer product requirements into silicon.

What they ask for

  • Track record of taking architectures from specification to tapeout.
  • Strong performance modeling skills using C++, SystemC, Python, or equivalent.
  • Deep understanding of memory systems, interconnects, cache coherence, and PPA trade-offs.
  • Clear technical writing and ability to lead cross-team reviews.

Nice to have

  • Experience with AI/ML accelerators or chiplet-based designs.
  • Hardware/software co-design experience; interest in AI-driven architecture exploration.

Tools

C++, SystemC, Python

AI focus

Partner with ML researchers to teach models how expert architects reason about design trade-offs and evaluate proposed architectures.
