Leads mechanical design, analysis, manufacturing, and testing for rocket motors, actuators, pressure vessels, valves, and related aerospace systems.
What you'll do
- Design and optimize mechanical and rocket propulsion components, including actuators, igniters, pressure vessels, hot gas valves, and thrusters.
- Develop and validate engineering models and simulations; conduct structural, dynamic, thermal, and tolerance analyses.
- Support manufacturing and testing, including assembly, fabrication, test planning, instrumentation, and analysis of test data.
