Leads mechanical design engineering for controllable solid propulsion systems and manages, mentors, and develops a team of approximately 10 engineers.
What you'll do
- Lead mechanical design, trade-off analyses, and optimization for solid rocket propulsion components and systems.
- Develop CAD models and drawings, apply GD&T, and validate structural, dynamic, thermal, and combustion simulations.
- Provide technical and program leadership, mentor engineers, and support staffing, budgeting, performance reviews, and hiring.
