About the job
Establish and lead a scalable precision-cleaning operation for space hardware, including its processes, equipment, documentation, training, and continuous improvement.
What you'll do
- Create standardized cleaning processes, work instructions, and SOPs, and produce technical plans, specifications, and qualification reports.
- Select cleaning equipment, tooling, chemicals, fixtures, and infrastructure; collaborate with technicians and engineering teams to process hardware to design intent.
- Develop training and certification programs, troubleshoot hardware anomalies, and drive lean manufacturing improvements.
