Develops and leads dimensional inspection methods for machined magnet components, ensuring they meet drawing, quality, and manufacturing requirements.
What you'll do
- Select inspection equipment and create measurement plans for part features, tolerances, and surface characteristics.
- Develop inspection procedures and records, maintain equipment calibration and traceability, and conduct measurement system analysis.
- Collaborate with machinists and engineers to investigate defects, verify corrective actions, and improve measurement and manufacturing processes.
