Operate and set up CNC lathes and mills, inspect parts for quality, and support safe, consistent production at VulcanForms’ Devens facility.
What you'll do
- Operate and set up CNC machines; follow process sheets, drawings, and programs.
- Inspect parts and monitor equipment and tooling during production.
- Support team training and troubleshooting, and communicate with Quality and Engineering.
What they ask for
- 4+ years of experience with 3- and 4-axis CNC milling centers and 2-axis and multi-axis live-tooling lathes, using the listed controls.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T.
- Ability to work in a team environment and follow health, safety, and quality policies.
- Good hand/eye coordination.
Nice to have
- Graduate of an Advanced Machine Technology Course.
- Knowledge of 5S/6S; experience with an offline presetting tool or quick-change tooling.
Pay
$24–$33/hour (hourly pay, Level II); $28-$38/hour (hourly pay, Level III)
