Manager, Quality Control - Consumer Technology

What you'll do

• Manage daily lab operations, scheduling, staffing, throughput, and operational costs; resolve technical inspection and measurement issues.
• Set metrology standards, safety protocols, and equipment validation methods; maintain audit readiness for ISO 9001 and customer requirements.
• Develop lab KPIs and capacity plans, lead team recruitment and training, and integrate inspection data with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Digital teams.

What they ask for

• 8+ years of experience in Quality Control, Metrology, or Inspection within high-precision manufacturing.
• 3+ years of formal management experience (M2 or Lead level), including managing a multi-shift technical team.
• Mastery of GD&T and advanced metrology equipment (CMM, GOM/Blue Light, NDT).
• Experience managing departmental budgets and staffing, and deep understanding of ISO 9001 or AS9100 requirements in a laboratory setting.

Nice to have

• Experience scaling a QC/Test lab in a startup-to-production environment; Lean Six Sigma certification or similar, with 5S or Kaizen implementation.
• Experience with metal Additive Manufacturing inspection and metallurgical requirements, powder-bed fusion quality control, or inspection-data workflow automation.

Pay

$122,400 to $168,300 (annual base salary)
