Own purchasing for outside processing and production materials, managing suppliers and purchase orders to meet cost, delivery, and quality targets.
What you'll do
- Manage purchase orders from RFQ through placement, follow-up, receipt, and closeout; expedite and escalate delivery or quality issues.
- Source and manage suppliers, negotiate pricing and terms, and track supplier performance and corrective actions.
- Coordinate purchasing with production schedules and maintain accurate ERP/MRP data and purchasing reports.
