Performs inspections and supports quality compliance and continuous improvement for manufactured metal additive products.
What you'll do
- Conduct first article, dimensional, visual, and routine part inspections; document nonconformances and support hardware disposition.
- Validate inspection methods, monitor and report quality metrics, and support audits, corrective actions, and process improvements.
- Investigate production and inspection issues and coordinate with operations to meet production and safety requirements.
What they ask for
- 3+ years of part inspection experience with strong drawing interpretation skills.
- Extensive knowledge of GD&T; experience with FAI, TMV, inspection-method development, and AQL sampling.
- Experience in medical device, aerospace, or defense manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with advanced inspection equipment and software, including CMMs, PCMMs, vision systems, profilometers, and blue light scanners.
Pay
$23 - $38 per hour (base pay)
