Dispatcher - Day Shift

What you'll do

• Assign and adjust missions, crews, trucks, and trailers; monitor mission execution and fleet health, and make go/no-go or pause decisions.
• Respond to incidents, coordinate with operations, engineering, customers, and carrier partners, and maintain mission records and shift handoffs.
• Lead, coach, and develop Fleet Specialists, including assignments, skills assessments, and trainee sign-off following required review and approval.

What they ask for

• 2+ years of experience in dispatch, fleet operations, mission control, or a highly technical operations center environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead or supervise others.
• Linux, scripting, coding (e.g., Python), or computer terminal experience, plus ability to troubleshoot hardware and software errors.
• Familiarity with DOT and FMCSA regulations, particularly Hours of Service, and willingness to work the stated flexible day-shift schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Nice to have

• Direct people-management experience; prior autonomous vehicle experience or direct work with engineering teams.
• Comms desk or operations center experience; customer or shipper communication in time-critical freight; Jira, Fleetio, Motive, or comparable platforms; Class A CDL or hands-on Class 8 operational experience.
