Develop low-level, safety-critical embedded software and vehicle control capabilities for Waabi’s autonomous truck platform.
What you'll do
- Implement truck control software for engine, steering, and braking, and integrate sensors and actuation feedback with localization and control systems.
- Collaborate with hardware, safety, and systems teams to design, build, validate, and operate reliable systems.
- Support autonomous platform bring-up and operation, and help implement low-level functions for autonomous vehicles.
What they ask for
- Experience developing embedded software on low-level ARM microcontrollers and processors, sometimes with an RTOS.
- Deep experience with any of C/C++/Rust.
- Experience with safety-critical, high-reliability software projects following relevant industry safety standards.
- Able to work onsite 3–5 days per week in a hands-on role.
