What you'll do

  • Design and optimize algorithms for sensor data acquisition, processing, fusion, and filtering on target hardware.
  • Build and ship high-performance signal-processing software using parallel computing and low-level systems programming.
  • Work with autonomy, hardware, engineering, and science teams to improve system efficiency and robustness.

What they ask for

  • Deep understanding of computer architecture, including multicore systems, vector units, caches, memory hierarchy, and networking.
  • Experience implementing data-parallel, compute-intensive algorithms.
  • Experience with heterogeneous computing, systems programming, and performance profiling and optimization.
  • Experience developing production-quality software in a native language such as C++ or Rust.

Nice to have

  • Experience with CUDA, Vulkan, OpenCL, domain-specific languages, CPU intrinsics, or embedded systems.
  • Production software experience in relevant areas, or publications in related high-performance computing and technical fields.
