About the job

Develop and improve machine learning models for autonomous robots using real-world fleet data, from training experiments through evaluation on the fleet.

What you'll do

  • Run and evaluate model-training experiments; track metrics to assess model performance.
  • Curate and clean training data, and improve how new data is labeled and structured.
  • Work with Teleoperations to understand and improve data collection at its source.

What they ask for

  • Experience training models on real-world data from actual operations.
  • Experience with imitation learning, reinforcement learning, or a similar control method.
  • Ability to write production ML code, such as in Python and PyTorch.
  • Comfort cleaning and curating messy, real-world data.

Tools

Python, PyTorch

AI focus

Train and evaluate robot models across perception, decision-making, and action, with a stated progression from imitation learning toward broader generalization.
